I think it's about when the nazis took over Poland and forced their rule over Poland (just as in the lyrics) and that the men, women and children fought against the nazis and that the allies didn't come to help poland.
The lyrics "Warszawo, walcz!" is Polish for "Warsaw, fight!" Warsaw is the capitol of Poland.
This song is about Warsaw uprising during II World War. It begun on 1st of August 1944. It was a major World War II operation by the Polish resistance Home Army (Polish: Armia Krajowa), to liberate Warsaw from Nazi Germany, ahead of the Red Army advance. The rebellion coincided with retreat of German forces and Red Army approaching the eastern suburbs of the city[10]. The Soviet advance stopped short, however, while Polish resistance against the German forces continued for 63 days until the Polish surrendered. This song is a tribute to Polish heroes who died in this uprising.
i really love this song, generally i love Sabaton, they're one of the most known metal bands in Poland. we even listened their songs on history lessons. : ) and when you hear "Warszawa" from someone not from Poland it sometimes sounds really funny, Sabaton sang it great. by the way, it's very... literal song, without too much metaphores. not hard to understand.
