Living on borrowed time we've made a mess of everything forsaken simpler times for increased complexity in such a short amount of time we've managed to ruin everything despoilers of the land, humans have made it unlivable support systems for all life poisoned by our selfishness we know it isn't right but still we continue on and on the final human tragedy is death brought on by stupidity this isn't the end of the world, no doomsday hysteria this is the end of our kind this world will outlive our existence our actions speak volumes about our lack of values seen through the eyes of time our passing will make no difference it's in our own self interest to abandon the course we're following
