Gone Lyrics

I've been seeing moments back when we were breathing heavy
The sound of your voice still rings in my ear
Those nights over past the shoreline, the lights of the city skyline
The words you would say, could take me away

Now you're gone, I'm finding strength to move on
I'm losing my grip to hold on to you
What's left you're through
I'll go in alone

Wait for the call,
Let it ring I know you will,
Never pick it up again,
Where we left off leaves me wanting more,
Of your breath on my skin,
All the places we've been
Oh just, breath in, breath out, breath in

Now your gone, I'm finding strength to move on,
I'm losing my grip to hold on to you
What's left your through,
I'll go in alone.

Take me back to parking lots,
Sing along to favorite songs
Ohhhhh, ohhhhh
Lie under the pale moonlight,
Waiting for the sun to rise
Ohhhhh, ohhhh
We'd sing ohhhh, ohhhh

Ohhhh, ohhhh, ohhhh
Ohhhh, ohhhh, ohhhh

Now that you're gone, I'm finding strength to move on,
I'm losing my grip to hold on to you
What's left we're through

Now that you're gone, I'm finding strength to move on
I'm losing my grip to hold on to you
What's left we're through
I'll go wait alone (I'll go wait alone)

Alone (Sound of your voice, it still rings in my ears)

Cover art for Gone lyrics by Phone Calls From Home

One of my favorite songs by PCFH. I figure it's about a relationship that ended but he still wants there to be something. He still has feelings for the girl even though he knows nothing will ever happen between them and he's just reminiscing.
