This song is obviously about the notion that men can never understand what women really want, and vice versa.
I love this album, but this song is realllly insulting. Maybe if you didn't need to date the type of woman obsessed with her dress size in order to feel like a man, you would not have this disconnect? Also, I find both men and women do not like the advice that they ask for.

You are probably meant to infer from the lyrics the old narrative that "women play mind games" when love itself is the mind game (it is brain chemistry). And then the "chemistry that makes you stupid" is talking about testosterone, the large amount of which causes male body parts to develop in the fetus in the womb, and testosterone increases during puberty to help build muscle, increase sex drive, and increase aggression. This is another play on the concept that women are irrational (or more irrational than men). It actually takes a lot of intelligence, reason, observation, and imagination to see that experience is subjective, and therefore you have to attempt to see what another person means rather than insisting that anyone who does not see things as you do are crazy/ less than. Or the author of this song is reaaally terrible at relationships.
