Sick Silent America Lyrics

We are the new free-thinkers
My father gave me a brain
My mother taught me to use it
So swallow back all the vomit that you're spewing

They're all buying it, but I'm not buying
You can't fool me anymore

You are the curse
You are the curse
Your false prophecies darken my eyes and break my back

The new heaven is born and hell revives
The new heaven is born and hell revives
The new heaven is born and hell revives
The new heaven is born and hell revives

As I walked along the flames of hell
It became known to me
That you are nothing
But a wolf in priest's clothing

They're all buying it, but I'm not buying it
They cry, "Lead us, oh chosen one!"

You are the curse
You are the curse
You're false prophecies darken my eyes and break my back

This is the death of faith and all that is good

You are the curse
You are the curse
You're false prophecies darken my eyes and break my back

They cry, "Lead us, oh chosen one!"
The new heaven is born and hell revives
The new heaven is born and hell revives

The new heaven is born and hell revives
The new heaven is born and hell revives

The Marriage of Heaven and Hell is actually a book written by William Blake in the late 1700s. All of the song titles from this album are taken from the first 10 lines of the poem "A Song of Liberty." A lot of the lyrics and ideas from this song come from The Marriage of Heaven and Hell as well. Here are some lines taken from the book:

There are no direct quotes from the book in this song, but the last lyric, "The new heaven is born and hell revives," has to do with the last line of The Marriage of Heaven and Hell, which says "Empire is no more! and now the lion & wolf shall cease." This has to do with the prophecy of Isaiah, of the new heaven and the new earth.

I tried to listen closely to the talking at the end of the track. I'm pretty sure this is what it says. Check me on it.

Join us today as our prophet shows us how to qualify recieved and managed wealth. Trust in your prophet and you'll prosper.

There isn't one person in this building who claims he doesn't need more money. And if you say to me, "I don't need more money," then I will say to you, "you have a very poor outlook on life." If you wanna stop people from getting saved, just gotta stop people from prospering.
