Something has happened. Something that has put you to crossroads, and has or is going to change your life completely, something that you probably never saw coming.

Now there are 2 types of dreams crossfade refers to here. The dreams he talks about initially (the first verse) are bad dreams: either literally as in bad dreams during your sleep at night, or bad dreams in the form of thoughts (since night time or before going to sleep is the time when a person often normally starts thinking about life and stuff around him) These thoughts are incorrect inceptions, discouraging ideas, evil whispers in your mind that make make you loose hope and tell you that you've been screwed over, maybe even insecurities or fear of the unknown. These are bad dreams, they choke you, they make everything that has happened or is about to happen, seem wrong. " Am I feeling weak or strong? " Are you weak because you're letting them get to you? Or are you strong because you're trying to fight them?

The second verse talks about dreams that you had before all this happened. These dreams refer to ambitions, goals, and all those things that you had thought you'd do and achieve. That glorious place you thought you'd see yourself at one day. Everyone has dreams. But now, they seem to laugh at you. They seem to mock at you, they are staring down at you because you're having to give them up away, all away it seems. It's raining. It's sad, you can't believe that all those dreams you had, they are just gone.

Its killing you inside, and theres sorrow. My head is obsessed with sorrow.
