its talking about how the worlds becoming a wasteland, which we have to admit it is with all the death and crime. also the oil spill! :p but in all seriousness its speaking about how many people have turned to hate and ultimately, destruction. "with ambitions of beating the odds" its talking about keeping your own, beating what satan is trying to throw at you. " find your post, find your shelter, build your walls maintain protection" its talking about finding God and keeping close, find shelter in God, build your walls against the worlds destruction, and keep yourself protected from it.

i'm sorry dr0mztm, but you're an idiot. prada is one of biggest christian bands in this scene, and i don't know where you've been for the last couple years, but every single one of their songs has had some sort of religious meaning behind it. do you really think prada would just write an entire EP about zombies? uhhhh...NO! i'm not sure if this is about Jesus coming back or not, that could be part of it, but it definitely has to do with the fact that Christians in this world, and especially in this country, are becoming the minority....

It's not a "clever front" or anything like that. The guys just wanted to have fun and make a 5 song disc with a zombie theme. They pretty much said that before they even started making it.

Okay I have to agree with everyone here. The Album is obviously about Zombies but it is also about Christians being outnumbered. I also went to http://bit.ly/aInt7y posted by dr0mztm to read the interview. Sure he said it was entirely about Zombies but he said nothing about it not being about Christianity. This is about keeping stong in your faith and not letting go no matter what. "Find your post, find your shelter" is aboutgetting help from other Chistians when needed and Build your walls, maintain protection is about staying stong and not letting go in what you truly believe in.
The only problem with this song is you can't convert zombies back into people.
i actually agree with some of you...saying that it has a christian reference to christians being outnumbered....the nonreligious are outnumbering the religious...for instance...im atheist...so i would b a considered a zombie according to this album

if you look at this song and all the other songs, it DOES seem to add up to be a Christian album. I don't think TDWP would throw bits and pieces of "God" on this EP just to live up to their Christian reputation. It's symbolic what they did with this album. why would they waste time and make an album that has nothing to do with what theyre about? they're an evangelistic group of guys. although it is just a fun idea mike had, they took their style and put a twist on it.

The idea of using Zombies was just as a coverup for their subliminal message they were trying to reach out with. I totally think, with hollywoods demonic views on zombies and the picture we have of zombies, that the infection is christianity and is spreading rapidly. We as christians arent on the defenseive, we are on the offensive rapidly advancing the kingdom of God all over the world. what if zombies are the living and the survivors are the dead ones? think about it... only holding up there own? living to survive? thats not christianity. We are a body of believers not our own being, we are a unit. And we are living to outlive this world and all the evils it throws at us, but we are also fighting it with our beliefs all over the world.Even if we are outnumbered by this worlds forces, we have a benifactor and His name is above all names and his power is above all powers, and His name is Jesus Christ.

I'm excited for this. Even if I didn't already love TDWP, I would buy this EP just because it's about zombies :)
They said that they were just making this album for fun, writing about zombies obviously. But the actual lyrics do mean something. During the chorus I think it means you need to find yourself and stick with it. There are so many bad things going on in the world that people forget who they are and go with the flow. And yeah maybe it could have something to do with like finding Jesus Christ and believe in him even if other people don't. And yes, whoever said it's only about zombies mustn't think much.
Kudos to TDWP for branding this song with a name that is both relevant to the lyrics and not ridiculously stupid!
