(I Got Spurs That) Jingle, Jangle, Jingle Lyrics
Yippie yay
There'll be no wedding bells for today
Because I got spurs that jingle jangle jingle
As I go riding merrily along
And they sing, "Oh ain't you glad you're single?"
And that song, it's so very far from wrong
Oh Lilly Bell, oh Lilly Bell
Though I may have done some fooling
This is why I never fell
Because I got spurs that jingle jangle jingle
As I go riding merrily along
And they sing, "Oh ain't you glad you're single?"
And that song, it's so very far from wrong
Oh, I got spurs that jingle jangle jingle
(Oh, I got spurs that jingle jangle jingle)
As I go riding merrily along
(As I go riding merrily along)
And they sing, "Oh ain't you glad you're single?"

"And that song ain't so very far from wrong" means that the song is correct, but only just barely. It's close to being wrong.
He is glad he's single, and that he moved on, but in each of those instances he seriously considered settling down, and almost did. Maybe he even would have been happy... but nah.
I'm pretty sure the last line of each chorus is "And that song ain't so very far from wrong", which gives it the opposite meaning.

The line "And that song ain't so very far from wrong" seems self-contradictory, but perhaps it indicates indecision with regard to wanting an emotional attachment.
