Rosevel Lyrics
Please don't drag me back to Rosevel,
underneath your creaking bed.
No air, no hatches under there.
no pleasantries hatched overhead.
Chorus:
I left,
what was left of you.
What was left of you,
could not he kept.
(And) I warned you, I would have to cut off dead wood.
Please don't make me say those words again,
to satisfy a whim.
I left too much kept under ice.
Don't go and throw up again.
[Chorus]
Please don't take me.
Please don't take me.
Please don't take me.
Please don't take me.
Please don't send me back to Rosevel,
in between your knuckle bed.
I turned my back on life itself.
I could not tell it wasn't dead.
[Chorus 2x]
And I warned you I would have to cut off...
underneath your creaking bed.
No air, no hatches under there.
no pleasantries hatched overhead.
I left,
what was left of you.
What was left of you,
could not he kept.
(And) I warned you, I would have to cut off dead wood.
to satisfy a whim.
I left too much kept under ice.
Don't go and throw up again.
Please don't take me.
Please don't take me.
Please don't take me.
in between your knuckle bed.
I turned my back on life itself.
I could not tell it wasn't dead.

A quite harsh reflection on a dead end love affair with an unresponsive lover (Rosevel).
This one is multiple choice ;-) I'm assuming "knuckle bed" means "vagina" in this song. Is that: a. A common expression in English/Australian b. A poetic invention of James Paterson c. Just my misinterpretation ?
