Epiphany

Seems like this song is about a girl that won't let go of a guy, even though he tells her to go away but she just won't listen and keeps thinking that everything between them is alright(your inner thoughts betray you). He tells her to realize the truth and to stop critisizing him for not wanting her(you think I'm weak? It's called honesty. believe me, here's your epiphany). He also describes how the whole situation is keeping him from living the life he wants(oh, it feeds it feeds, it breaks down eveything, destroys, the life that I've been seeking.) and how she tries to fight her way in (You try to force your way in so you fight and fight you're battling. I believe, nothing is what it seems.). Once again, he tells her that they'll never be and that she needs to just let go( There's something you don't know, a place you'll never go. There's something you don't know, you need to let go.)Tells her to leave him alone and run away once again ( You run from everything you can't control. Let go of control.)

"This song is a pretty personal one for me. It deals with how there are so many expectations of me, and that the more successful I try to become, the more there are people who wish to tear me down. It’s difficult to do what you love and be happy doing it while you have people trying to drag you down. This song talks about how if you let people tear you down, they will. But if you stand strong, it's worth it in the end. This is probably the closest to the feel of our debut EP Empire, but it’s a step forward and the doorway to our new direction. It’s heavy, fast and melodic. It’s a song you'll be singing along to the first time through."

Ah they played this at warped (cinci) just before the album dropped, SO GOOD LIVE. they didn't overdo the autotune(which is bullshit anyway) and i love that. They also got better in general.
