I Want Everything

@Mabvs It’s a great song. I’m sorry about being so late with my reply. 10 years or so. But I know you’re not waiting for a specific reply, but just somebody else’s thoughts. It’s about 1 in the morning and I’m sitting down by the river. There’s definitely nobody else around. I asked Siri to play a specific song, and she did. And then in succession she played other songs that I know and like. Eventually she played —I want everything. It’s one of my favorites. I’ve been listening to it for many many years. I’m sure after all of this time...

I’m sure after all of this time I probably don’t need to tell you what I think it’s about… But I will anyways — it’s about wanting more from another person, that doesn’t want more from you. It’s about falling in love and being willing to give everything you have and everything you are to somebody else and not feeling like it’s mutual. When you finally find that special person, Beautiful woman in my case, you forgo all the games or preconceived notion‘s of how it should proceed. You’re simply willing to give all of yourself in hopes of receiving all of herself. Maybe I’m wrong about the songs meaning …of love not being reciprocated, but that’s how it feels right now to me in my case.
I’m sure my thoughts here are not of any value. But I saw you had no replies to your comment. And your comment, and this song, deserve a reply — from someone. We all should “want everything” someday … At least from that one special person. Because you deserve it. I deserve it. The most important thing is love. And that is true whether you know it or not.
