A For Andrew Lyrics
I have an illness,
And it is called myself.
I am so desperate.
I'm getting in over my head.
I regret so many things I've done.
The past is to remind me how broken I am.
How broken I am.
How naive I was.
How naive I was.
I've suffered the consequences,
This world is not for me.
I've suffered the consequences,
I've failed you, I've failed everyone.
I've put so many things above you,
But you still are always there for me.
I don't know who I am anymore.
If I even knew who I was,
How naive I was.
How naive I was.
My head starts pounding,
My body begins to burn,
I'm tired.
I'm beat down.
And my hope is dying.
I've suffered the consequences,
This world is not for me.
I've suffered the consequences,
I've failed you, I've failed everyone.
I've put so many things above you,
But you still are always there for me.
I don't know who I am anymore,
If I even knew who I was.
I've put so many things above you,
But you still are always there for me
I don't know who I am anymore
If I even knew who I was
MOVE!
And it is called myself.
I'm getting in over my head.
The past is to remind me how broken I am.
How broken I am.
How naive I was.
This world is not for me.
I've suffered the consequences,
I've failed you, I've failed everyone.
But you still are always there for me.
I don't know who I am anymore.
If I even knew who I was,
How naive I was.
My body begins to burn,
I'm beat down.
And my hope is dying.
This world is not for me.
I've suffered the consequences,
I've failed you, I've failed everyone.
But you still are always there for me.
I don't know who I am anymore,
If I even knew who I was.
But you still are always there for me
I don't know who I am anymore
If I even knew who I was

This seems to be the underrated song of the album, but it's the 2nd heaviest next 2 AC-130. This sounds a lot like ADTR 2. It's about letting someone down and being wrecked by guilt.
"i've put so many things above you but you still are always there for me" is referring to him letting God down. He feels like he's lost.
Hope you all realize that all of Attack Attack!'s lyrics don't belong here. This is a different Attack Attack...the with two !'s
this has to be the best song on this album
attack attack would be so much better without all their breakdowns
This is from an interview with Johnny.
"The reason for this song's name is that our guitarist [Andrew Whiting] wanted our whole record to be in drop-A tuning. We went with B for the majority of the album, so this song in drop-A is for Andrew. We just wanted to make the heaviest, sludgiest song we possibly could. This song is about putting things above God and how He still is always there for you. No matter how many times we deny Him, He knows how broken we are and still loves more than anything.
