first that get to me was the melody. and then got down to the lyrics, and i was like.. omg. the beat itself was happy but the lyrics wasn't. and i really get the lyrics bcos i kinda feel the same way.

i think it's about a girl that has to live w/ a boy, she loved him v. much or at least devoted her life to settle with him when all the boy capable to do was breaking her heart, but the girl put on a mask so their life can still going fine. she put the boy before her, all the way. cos the girl had nowhere to go, no one to be there, no destination whatsoever so all she knew is stick to him for love, or if it weren't then it would be a God-only-knew reason.

Holy daaaaang I love this song ;) Haha I have it on replay too I listen to it 24/7 I agree with what falbala says. The girl loves the boy and is trying to be the perfect girl for him. The music is totally awesome and the lyrics are captivating too. I think it's the guy who lies because of when is says "your smile is a beautiful lie"

My soulmate broke up with me two weeks ago. We still love each other but have been frustrated by so many things getting in the way and by discussions arising from the nothingness that arises when your ideals are so much greater than reality, that made me insecure and controlling and her passive and confused. Despite that, our relationship was amazing and there is so much about it that we miss. We still love one another and I believe she wants to get back together with me but doesn't know how to do that while asserting her independence and dignity. For the last two weeks, we've been having some emotional discussions but mainly just random chit-chat. I've been trying to get her to come back to me but have accepted that I'll just have to go with the way things turn out.

i think the song is about a couple that has a rocky relationship. they have gone through troubles and when one person tries showing that they care, they feel that the other doesn't care or see it. the girl and guy both feel this way at times. over all, they both care about eachother. and both of them keep trying despite what their 'mind' tells them at times because their heart is still in it.
