Stars Fade Blue Lyrics
Stars fade blue
if only I had one more chance with you
Stars fade blue
if only I had one more chance with you
Stars fade blue
if only I had one more chance with you
Stars fade blue
if only I had one more chance with you
I'm a timebomb ready to explode
she's the virus in my lungs
tell me what do you think
about the girl
tell me what do you think
about the girl
Stars fade blue
if only I had one more chance with you
I'm a timebomb ready to explode
she's the virus in my lungs
tell me what do you think
about the girl
tell me what do you think
about the girl
cause in my eyes she's perfect
if only I had one more chance with you
Stars fade blue
if only I had one more chance with you
Stars fade blue
if only I had one more chance with you
if only I had one more chance with you
I'm a timebomb ready to explode
she's the virus in my lungs
tell me what do you think
about the girl
tell me what do you think
about the girl
if only I had one more chance with you
I'm a timebomb ready to explode
she's the virus in my lungs
tell me what do you think
about the girl
tell me what do you think
about the girl
cause in my eyes she's perfect

First!? Really? Jeeze, where do I start? Well, I love this song, it's so beautiful. Onward, though.
For me, this song is about a guy that loves a girl, but feels that he's lost his chance with her. It's as if she's moved away, he admires her from afar, or she's died.
"Stars fade blue" could refer to the end of night---an ending for his time with her---or light leaving someone as if they've died.
"If only I had one more chance with you" is pretty self-explanatory. Obviously he wants more time with her, to get to know her better or attempt to woo her a second time.
"I'm a time bomb ready to explode" is a metaphor for his feelings, he's so overjoyed about her that his feeling are about to exude from him and submerge everyone else in his thoughts.
"She's the virus in my lungs" is another metaphor, relating to the way she's like a sickness that's spread through his entire body. The way she makes him feel radiates from his core---his lungs---through to everything he does.
"Tell me what do you think about the girl?" asks---rhetorically---how people feel about her. Do they love her like he does? Do they hate her? Do they miss her? This is rhetorical because he doesn't want an answer, he doesn't CARE what anyone else thinks since the last lyric (that isn't repeated from the rest of the song)is "'Cause in my eyes she's perfect".
Overall, this song is about love. The whole meaning is that he loves this girl with all of her faults or failures, despite what anyone may think of her or their relationship. Whether she has left their relationship, one never formed, or she died, it doesn't matter. All that matters with these lyrics is that love can be felt in even the worst or silliest of circumstances.
