Crossword Puzzle Maze

When your fingerprints won't leave a mark on anything you choose to touch at all
And the thoughts you have are silhouettes that hang around imaginary walls
Then let me be the first thing that you read
Let me fill up all your empty diaries
I'll be the instigator;
I will keep you ever-present in my mind
When your back pretends it's broken and the staircase makes out that it can't be climbed
And the life you're actually living is so far from the one that's happening in your mind
And the world is like a crossword puzzle maze;
Set a foot in it, you're lost in clues for days
