To me, this song is about being in an intense relationship with someone who knows exactly how to push your buttons...

Like couples who do or say stupid shit in the middle of fighting just to hurt each other, but then intensely make up. Pattern repeats over and over--and the voice in this song feels like someone resigned to that fact. The idea of lovely bloodflow reminds me, literally, of how you can be so connected with the person you love, for better and worse, and how that directly correlates to your well-being.

FWIW, I saw Baths perform this song live last weekend in Austin. Best electronic music I've seen performed live in a long, long time. Highly recommended!!

I love this song I herd it on skins the us and fell in love with it I love towards the middle when he say you are the blood flow lovely blood flow you are my blood flow baby lovely blood flow i think i'm in love with him when he sang that part.
