Nectarine Lyrics
Those looks have closed me in your palm
sent me dreaming softly between
but I won't stay where I dream for long
through your rising in the morning
and when you're settling round the evening
And when you come back home
when you come back home
I won't ever let go, I haven't before
yoo-hoo (x6)
dressed in wine stained silk
hanging your eyes wide into
somewhere above the windows reach steps (???)
we can write back home
we can write back home
sent me dreaming softly between
but I won't stay where I dream for long
through your rising in the morning
and when you're settling round the evening
when you come back home
I won't ever let go, I haven't before
hanging your eyes wide into
somewhere above the windows reach steps (???)
we can write back home

What is this song about? It's so beautiful and it seems like he's singing about beauty, but is there more to it?
i think this song is about two people and one has moved away from the other "when you come back home" and maybe the other is visiting? i don't know, these people definitely seem to be in some sort of relationship, and one is reassuring the other that they 'won't let go' because they are leaving. just my thoughts. i love twin sister :-)
