At his concert at webster hall. he said this song was a bout a girl who he was with. And after they made love for the first time her defences went up and things started to change. and he didnt understand why. they are no longer together but he wrote this song for her. <3

like, he is afraid to give in completely, cuz if he will know ALL of her it will be more dangerous for him than meeting devil himself..but i don't know yours take make alot of sense too :)
