I think she is talking to her insecure bf, a guy who is superficial and dull , not lik ethe image she has of him in the beggining, and she is waiting fo one more wod to end it all .. i guess...
I feel like this song is to a guy and the singer and the guy are always fighting (the guns are a metaphor) and they are in a particularly big fight and she sounds like she's tired of it and she doesn't want to fight anymore(unarmed) she just wants to talk, cause she needs him (much to far to go alone) or she's giving up on fighting and him altogether.
