"Say she can't love you like I do Look me in the eyes and say it's true" Obviously that means the guy she used to be with has now moved on, but she knows that she loved him and still loves him better than anyone can.

She starts to wonder if he ever loved her, like she loved him. So she always tries to plead him to come back, or to open his eyes that she is the one but it doesn't work.

she is slowly starting to get over him, and she wants him to know that he will never find anyone, who loved him as much as she did.

So one day, she finally lets him go, and stops trying to be with someone who doesn't want her back. And she hopes it hurts him, when she finds someone new and he realizes that she was the one for him all along.

This is one of my favorite songs on her new cd, well written and sang, go miley! :)

To me, the song is about this girl who loves a guy who is leavin her. she loves him & doesnt want him to leave her, so she wants him to take her with him bcuz if he doesnt then its over between them. but in the end, he does leave & she's still sad & hurt, but acts as if she's ok. so she wants him to be hurt & miss her when he's with other girls & when he hears that she's okay. but she still loves him, & still doesnt understand why he didnt take her along.

This is about a girl who has been with a boy for awhile, and they are taking a break of some sort. He has a new girl he is talking to, and she knows that she loves him more than that girl ever will. She also knows he will miss her a ton, and she doesn't understand why it's over. She thinks when he is with the girl, he will think of her. She is pleading him to come back, but he won't.

Well obviously this song is about a guy leaving a girl and the girl not understanding what went wrong or how she's going to live without him. It really shows the girl's vulnerability and how dependent she was on him.

This song hits very close to home right now. I'm in love with a man, and he treats me like he loves me, but he's already in a relationship with a woman. He's never expressly told me that he thinks of me that way or that he even likes men, but there are times when you just know. I'm always here for him just as he is me. I never push my own wants on him, and we literally sit at the side of the stage whenever one another is performing (we met after being cast in the same musical.) I let him live his life, but I am aching for him. But I don't want to frighten him and lose him. We both want the same things out of life. I just don't understand why we can't go on with our lives together, why we can't just look at each other and say "take me with you."
