Killemall Lyrics

have you met your ghost?
he says things that you won't
and the stones that he throws
are the grudges he holds
it's the lingering doubt
in the gathering crowd
it's these stones that we throw
and the devils cast out

fire and flames they are possessed
lay the spirits down to rest
the spirits are ventriloquists
they say the things that must be said

did you strangle your ghost
when she broke in your home?
and now time spent awake
is just time spent alone

fire and flames they are possessed
lay the spirits down to rest
the spirits are ventriloquists
they say the things that must be said

I suspect the title is a play on "Kill `em all."

Tru tru zss & holycrapocto. Additionally, "kill 'em all", is a VERY common EVP (electronic voice phenomena -ps notice the parallels in words menomena & phenomena- EVP is believed to be the voices of deceased people speaking thru electronic devices or anything making a repetative noise like detuned "staticy" radios/TVs or trickling/running water. The movie white noise is based on EVPs. The song Jeremy by pearl jam is based on a real dead boy who has allegedly been speaking to many many people via EVP. In evps ghost try to convey love to surviving loved ones. Also very very common & creepy are curses & threats from the voices. Spirits saying the things we can't/won't, being ventrilliquist, no momment awake is ever alone, to me all reference to evps & the after life. AWEeeSSSommmmeee song!!!!

Real good work here, guys. Steven Todd, I like your analysis; I think you're absolutely spot on.

This is the hardest song to understand on the album, in my opinion (I really like the way the Ramona Falls guy sings, but damn if I can ever understand what he says), so really good work deciphering that chorus.

I think it's "It's these stones that were thrown" instead of "It's his stones that we love/loathe."

And it's definitely "And NOW time spent awake is just time spent alone."

Going to have to say "It's his stones that we throw"
