I Won't Kneel

Could be wrong but I interpret it as telling someone you're gay and not being accepted (technically it could be about any secret, though).

Regretting coming out or spilling your secret. Bargaining with the person, like saying "Forget I said that. Can't I take it back?" "I'm a victim of my pride" is self-explanatory, and what really drew me to this meaning.

"I drove for miles in a city trance I came to ask for a second chance But I won't dance, no I won't dance."

Maybe the person had a falling out with whoever she revealed herself to. Now she's going back to see them and maybe fix things.

"I came for miles on a broken wheel I came to see whether love can heal But I won't kneel, no I won't kneel."

She wants to patch things up with this person, but she won't beg for forgiveness.

"'Cause I can't bend, can't hold, can't lend, can't fold, can't lose, won't cry, can't choose, 'cause I know why I..."

She didn't choose this, it's not her fault, so she's not gonna feel sorry.

"I, I want, to always be with you What's wrong, to tell you what I knew 'Cause I, know I'm a slave to lonely pride I belong to all that I've been through."

She wants to put aside their differences and be friends (or family) again. "I want to always be with you" = she can't live without them.

"'Cause I get close, and get scared, and this grows in my head Won't you give me something, something to hold?"

She doesn't want to fight anymore. She just wants someone to be there for her, especially since she needs it now more than ever. More love less hate :D
