Delivered Lyrics

These walls are reddish-brown
Ready to be bulldozed down
And softly torn to pieces
In slow motion, with no sound

Got metal in your arteries, and
Cameras in your blood stream, and
Heartbeats from your batteries, and
Limited reserve

This is your end
This is your end

You're delivered

You've sung the glories
Lived a million short stories
And the tales that you told will
No doubt outlast your years

But the heavy lead arteries
And the cameras in your blood stream
And the heartbeats from your batteries
Ticking slower and slower and still

This is your end
This is your end
This is your end

You're delivered

Cover art for Delivered lyrics by Admiral Fallow

I think this is about someone, an elderly relative perhaps, on life support. It's about being sat there and seeing someone you love hooked up to IV drips and heart monitors and who knows what else and knowing that none of it is really making a difference.

Whatever the meaning, it's a very beautiful song from a very talented band.
