Girl, I gotta know how you dance like that
D-d-dance like that, you dance like that
'Cause you're puttin' on a show
Can I take you back?
Take you back, take you back
I just gotta ask
Can you show me yours?
I'll show you mine
Don't you worry; you're too fine
We got one thing on our minds
And we got plenty of time

Girl, I gotta go
I'm finished with the show
If you wanna ___ me, I won't say no
T-t-touchin on my ___
While I'm touchin on your ___
You know that we are gonna ___
'Cause I don't give a ___ (x2)

I can't get you outta my mind
With the way you walk
The way you walk, the way you walk
Baby, you should be a sign
The way you make me stop
Make me stop, make me stop
'Cause some like fast and some like slow
Ladies come and ladies go
Skip the tell and let's just show
'Cause I want you to know

Girl, I gotta go
I'm finished with the show
If you wanna ___ me, I won't say no
T-t-touchin on my ___
While I'm touchin on your ___
You know that we are gonna ___
'Cause I don't give a ___ (x2)

Girl, you know I want you, want you, want you now
You know you want me, want me, want me now
'Cause there's not that much to figure out
So, baby, let's get down

Girl, I gotta go
I'm finished with the show
If you wanna ___ me, I won't say no
T-t-touchin on my ___
While I'm touchin on your ___
You know that we are gonna ___
'Cause I don't give a ___ (x2)

It's about promiscuous lust and sex. Very listenable and the video is funny. :)

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,
