Foreign Kicks Lyrics

Take your time, I can wait
I remind, that it's late
I'll drive you home
Yeah, I'll drive you home

In a while, I'll be gone
?, all I want
To drive you home
Well, I drive you home

Again
Oooh (x4)

Promises, aren't enough
All the sins, all that once
But I drive you home
Would I drive you home

Again
Oooh (x4)

It's timing baby, forget about the summer, it's over
It's timing, can't we forget about the summer, it's over

It's timing baby, forget about the summer, it's over
It's timing, can't we forget about the summer, it's over

It's over (7x)

This song goes about a relationship for sure. It look likes the girl cheated on him, and he is breaking up with her. But, he still loves her. I'm not sure of this explanation, but it is the closest I came up with I think.
