No View Is True Lyrics
We don't have to see, eye to eye, as long as we get along
We don't have to hear, ear to ear, as long as it's a great song, playing
Different strokes for different folks, if
I've found no religion, but I still have faith
I've made some decisions, but I’m following my fate
I'm not so indifferent, everyone is the same
We're all just opinions, that extinguish the flame
No opinion, since no view is true
We don't have to feel, an eye for an eye
What we take can be a mistake
We don't have to sense, 666
When we can manifest hate, laughing
Different pokes, from different jokes
No view is true.

Not a single comment, this song is one of the best on the CD.
John Lennonesque
But as for what it means, if you can't tell then yeah...
Totally agree. One of the best songs from a great album.
Pretty obvious lyrics; we should all appreciate each other, regardless of religion, skin colour, nationality, creed, political circles, etc. "No view is true": there are millions of "views" on life but they're no better than any other.
Agree as well, absolutely about religion. Honestly, Stephen Richards has a way of putting things in perspective that really inspires me. Most of the songs are about relationships/breakups, but even then he has a different take on things. The lyrics are really inspirational but at the same time they usually deal with the darker side of the subject as well.
This song gives me the overall feeling of peace. I get it from the guitar as well as Stephen's lyrics and voice. The guitar just feels so triumphant. Rock On Taproot!!!
