Well personally I love the song, the vocals really come through in this song for me. I think the song means someone who is thinking that someone they know died and they believe that they are haunting them. Whilst the haunting happens, it brings back maybe painful memories?
Well that's just what I think the lyrics of the song mean.
I think it's about being stuck in a place that's painful and scary to you, and wanting out. But there aren't really any releases.
