My interpretation is different. I lost someone due to a drug overdose. The slang term for the drug is "girl" so when C.A. speaks of "her", I think of the drug. This song I've listened to every day since he died. I wish I could say to C.A. how much this particular song described my exact thoughts.

I love this song. It shows a different side of her voice and the lyrics are amazing. It's about cheating for sure and how they had something so beautiful but how that one incident changed everything.
