Phoenix Burn

This is a great song, super instrumentation and lyrics. It's about the age old search for pure love. What better metaphor than the Phoenix bird of ancient mythologies around the world. This beautiful bird lives 500-1000 years, builds a nest of twigs then sets itself on fire until there's nothing left but ashes. But from those ashes arises a new bird reborn to live a new life. Its cry is often said to be that of a beautiful song. And this is that! That's the picture of this guy who's burning up when everything falls apart. But he has someone who will be his "Phoenix Burn," and they will find freedom in that fire. Let it burn.

I can't believe nobody has commented on this yet! Such a wonderful song. I think maybe it's about finding true love, the kind that makes you grow as a person.

In life, you encounter situations that go unsolved or end up hurting someone whether it is emontional or physical. Sometimes you may even be put down by the smallest things or just when things aren't going you're way. You want to change? Someone to turn to? Think to yourself........what can I change? How can I change? Who can I turn to when I'm down? Do you feel.......like giving up? The reason I ask this is because to really understand the meaning of a song is to relate it in some way of your life. For example, this song is about building trust, relationships and finding answers to a life that seems turned upside down. So, how does that relate to you? What are some ares in your life that seems to be turned upside down? How is you're relationships with your freinds? Don't you feel at times that you held so much stuff inside and have to let it out to? And yes, this is the most beautiful song I have ever heard!
