Pluto Vs Neptune Lyrics

Pluto as a planet’s erroneous, it’s time to rewind
I could stake my orbit on this, I am not blind
It won’t be now and it never deserved to be 9th
Named after a god but it’s not a god, or godlike

Probably can’t be trusted in a place this dark
Mostly rustic, encrusted with a frozen heart
Once you cry to Mercury you’ll melt apart
You will always be cursory, so let go of your mark

You can’t think you’ve won,
Sometimes I’m closer to the sun
We’re tons of matter
and it doesn’t matter a ton

You can’t think you’ve won,
Sometimes I’m closer to the sun
We’re tons of matter
and it doesn’t matter a ton

You can’t think you’ve won,
Sometimes I’m closer to the sun
We’re tons of matter
and it doesn’t matter a ton

Call me old fashioned, but what’s in a planet
It’s not what I came for
It’s not what I’ll leave with
I don’t wanna sound dumb
But you can’t think you’ve won
Sometimes I am closer
To the sun

Great job Wheezy. The lyrics are fun and playful, but pretty intelligent too!

I disagree. What makes this song great is the very serious portrayal of the planets that DPC creates. The planets are shown as people with life and feeling. They make a tragedy out of inanimate objects; there's nothing fun or playful about it. Also, Craig doesn't write all the songs.
