I think this is about The Great Gatsby:
"We met up 5 years later & I still have that soft spot for you..." Thats how long it takes Gatsby to reunite with Daisy "And you still remember I'm glad you remember cuz there was nothing left for me to hold onto.." He did it all for Daisy and when they finally meet up at Nick's pad Gatsby is overwhelmed because it's the only thing he's been waiting for.
The whole "We didn't say a thing.." line goes along with the affair being kept secret.
The "Let's take it back to the basics" line makes me think of how Gatsby just wants Daisy to leave everything and start over with him.
"I'm back won't feel like second base" Is it "base" or "best"? I always thought it was "best" Either way that just goes along with how Gatsby spent the last 5 years working to get to Daisy and he is determined not to be second to Tom again.
"I will cross them out. I will cross you out. Then I'll X myself out." This could just be reference to the chaotic end of the summer were everything falls apart and Gatsby ends up being killed or "X'd" out
