I believe it's a Friends With Benefits situation gone bad. The narrator developed feelings outside of what they agreed on and now the narrator is beginning to feel like the FWB is taking advantage by borrowing money, smoking the narrator's weed, etc. But all the narrator wants is a relationship; but doesn't know if saying it would end whatever they currently have or actually result in what the narrator thinks they want.

This song is the best to crank up when you're driving around with the windows down out on back roads. Love Best Coast.

but of course the song is about her being in love with someone i guess her friend but i guess her little friend with benefit doesn't want to have any part of it anymore and since he just leaving her with no explanation she is feeling crazy for the guy and she just want to be with him but that was not the whole deal about being friend with benefit in the first place. it was just either being friends with benefit or just being friends.

This is my favorite song on the album. It is something I can completely connect to.

I get these Camera Obscura feelings when listening to this song. I love the epic... sad voice, almost crying, shattered and fragile voice.

The meaning is fairly self-explanatory. The singer is in love with her FWB, but she knows that he doesn't want to go further because it's not their "deal", or the way their relationship works. They'v established a pattern as FWB and he doesn't want more.
