Did she even write this song? I remember reading she wanted her music to be more of Rock and depth. Anyways this song sounds like a big STFU to Disney or something. And we get to hear Miley's first swear word! I expect to see the Britney Spears path for Miley. [Britney] Started off cute and clean, and then sexed up it, and then went 5150. I hope it doesn't happen to Miley, but all the similarites are there.

Oh and this song is definitely going to be a guilty pleasure for me like all of her songs.

Wow...What can I say about this vid...? She's come a long way from "Best Of Both Worlds"(HM)/"Start All Over"(her 1st Miley single) to this...It kinda scares me to think that she might become like Britney or Lindsay, who were both Disney stars gone wrong. I understand her wanting to find herself, but this is pretty ridiculous. In this song, she's basically telling us that she wants to be wild and crazy like Britney/Lindsay. But look at Lindsay, this last week, she was found to be in violation of her parole for her DUI, and she is now sentenced to 30 days in prison. I sure hope Miley gets the hint that she doesn't want that lifestyle, and only bad things can come of it.

Here, Miley is doing what she does best,make cliched declarative-statement songs that have little depth or meaning. These sorts of songs appeal to equally shallow, ignorant people who make such declarative statements in their own lives. This is a self-centered song. I counted 73 instances within this song that she uses the word 'I' or a variant of it.

Everything within this song seems forced. For example, that line, "or tell you to go to Hell," was completely unnecessary. It adds nothing artistically and does not emphasize the point; it's just an avenue for her to "cuss" ("Hell" is a wimpy swear word, I think). She's trying way too hard. Look at the video. Goodness! It's not even art; it's disgusting propaganda for her disgusting face and her almost-decent body. She's trying so hard to "break away" from Disney. I'm going to pull a Miley here and make a cliche: "Living well is the best revenge."

I love Miley Cyrus. This song is a stepping stone to her maturity and her talent. She's not a little girl anymore.

This is a pretty good song, I'm not really much of a Miley fan but I sorta respect ger for coming out with something like this. This is her breaking out of her disney shell. I'm a little upset she joined the pop bandwagon and didn't move on to country but this is still a good song.

Her singing career is going down hill. She is turning into s less extreme version of Brittney Spears. Once she took those pictures I didn't like her anymore. She was a good role model, but has lost it, she has in fact grown up.

this song only wants her critics to know that this is who she is and nothing that her critics say will change her.
