this song is about a woman feeling lost in her relationship. She is with an abusive partner, who makes her believe all her thoughts and feelings are wrong. He is secretive and when she tries to bring problems up, he will yell at her and make her question herself. Making it impossible to trust herself and stay strong enough on her own, that's why she has to break through an endless cycle of mental torture and captivity. She has to save herself and stop leaning on him, for he's the reason she is where she is. She has to escape from the shadows of him to regain herself.
I really like this song I listen to it when I need to get out of this world I feel like Im in a different place when I listen to this song its my favorite and I love it to death
