I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Cologne is poison. People with asthma (including moi) can have a reaction to it where they can't breathe and it can kill them if it's severe enough. But doubt that's what he means, so IDK. :)

It can cause everything from asthma to cancer. He loves her too much to buy her a poison to put on her skin and then it sinks in past the skin. <br /> I'm not guessing. I know. Pat has talked about it before. Not that to me but we have had an exchange or two over music. If you love yourself enough not to cover yourself in chemicals then find alternatives. Natural ones for fragrance.

It's a beautiful love story that shows that despite anything and everything (even Japanese internment and 40 years of not seeing or talking to one another) that true love can conquer all.
