It started off as a song about How Jonny and Jacob are great friends, but that was boring so they talked about if Jacob was dead and Jonny waited forever for him but he'd eventually survive.
And the eyes line well, you've gotta see Jacobs eyes in person to understand but they're amazingly beautiful. And of course if Jacob died he'd want Jonny to know how he would survive from it.

With all the songs about love, you hardly ever get good, serious songs about friendship. I'm suprised the Drums pulled it off so well, its not cheesy at all! Brillient album opener.

once someone was really nice to me when i needed someone to be nice to me. i didn't know him that well. and then he died. then this song got stuck in my head and i quoted it on tumblr. then it caused a bunch of drama. kind of like when i quote things out of mopiness. people look way deeply into it and then DRAMA.
