^ Yes ok, but guys, any ideas on the actual song meaning, cos you guys sound like you haven't a clue.
I'm stabbing in the dark here, but here's what I've come up with. It's definitely an angry song. Ideas of conflict between the Indians and the European settlers are all over the lyrics, "Cowboys, Indians" "Red souls, red friends" "Sling set can't meet their demands." I think it might be about people never being satisfied with what they have, human greed. The writer uses the case with the "cowboys and Indians" in the past to compare with what's going on now, perhaps also in the music industry, "Deaf chords, dead ends, Sling set can't meet their demands..." I think it's about people stabbing each other in the back "devil horns, best friends", and at the end of the day, the writer is angry about the situation and so wants the "infinity guitars" to go ahead and bring judgement. I don't really know what infinity guitars are, but I suggest it might be linked to the music industry also, and might symbolise a group of musicians who feel the same way and might team up to bring an end to this all. It's far fetched but that's what comes to mind when "infinity guitars" is said.
The line "Dumb whores, best friends" makes me think about high school.
um, yes.
um, yes.
Deaf chords, deaf hens Sling set can't meet their demands Deaf whores, best friends Infinity guitars, go 'head
Street (Strict?) wars, straight men Cowboys, Indians Red souls, red friends Infinity guitars, go 'head
I'm just putting this out there so if anyone who gets where I'm going could lay it out for everyone a bit better.
Deaf chords, dead ends [chords are some that are to be harmonious, but deaf implies that the notes are indifferent to each other... loud. Like an argument/dispute that doesn't add up or make sense. The dispute goes nowhere; dead ends.]
Sling set can't meet their demands [their weapons(in this case, words) aren't as damaging as they'd like]
Dumb whores, best friends [frenemies? Yes, yes, Sleigh Bells is very high school. We know.]
Infinity guitars, go 'head [guitars make the chords, so I guess they are the people who are dueling... fighting. go 'head=have at it.]
(physically aggressive vs. internal battles) Street wars, straight men [violence on the streets, gangs. "straight" men? I was thinking of homophobia? Like guys who have to make it clear that they are straight... more typical high school behavior.]
Cowboys, Indians [out for blood(cowboys-glorified icons) vs. the attacked(Indians-the less politically correct term for Native Americans)]
Red souls, red friends [red=aggressive, violent, blood-thirsty souls, red=derogatorily used to refer the color of a native american's skin. prejudice hit about appearance... "friends" is sort of contradictory to the slur... goes back to a frenemy/backstabbing mindset.]
Infinity guitars, go 'head
As you can see my line for line interpretation kind of goes somewhere, but I can't seem to tie it all together. Obviously conflict is involved and drawing parallels with other themes.... Implicit. Explicit.

nice song
The demo was nice, but the end on the album is fucking INTENSE. Besides the entirety of Ri(ng)ll Ri(ng)ll, my favorite moment on the album
