I think some may view this song as a positive end to the album, but I think it's incredibly sad. Because obviously the character of the album at this point is delusional and thinks his lover is going to come back to him. It's like being alone and thinking of the person that's left lying next to you in the bed, or having imaginary conversations with that person. Heartbreaking.
