Enter the Ninja Lyrics

[Chorus]
I, I, I
I am your butterfly
I need your protection
Be my samurai
I, I, I
I am your butterfly
I need your protection
Need your protection

I'm a ninja, yo
My life is like a video game
I maintain when I'm in the, zone
One player one life on the mic
I'm in the dark

Yo, ninja, go

No fuckin' around I'm cutting down
Anyone in my path
Tryna fuck up my game with razor sharp
Lyrical throw stars
Killin' my foes like
Hos! Ska!
Wild, outta control
Ninja skop befokte rof taal
Rough rhymes, tough times
Met fokkol kos, skraal
Till I hit triple seven at the A.T.M.
Straight family feast,
When you're living on the razor edge
Stay sharp, sharp
Rolling with the S.O.S.
High energy
Never seen zef so fresh
Uh, when we mic check
Hi-def flow's flex
Yo we aren't the messed up
Not fucking the best
We not like the rest
My style is U.F.O.
Totally unknown
You can't fuck with my new Zef flow
I'm hard to miss
"You can't do this, you can't do that"
Yo, fuckin' who said so?
I do what I like
Too hot to handle, too cold to hold
You can't fuck with the chosen one
I-I-I want the knife
I'm a Ninja

[Chorus: x2]

Ninja is poes cool
But don't fuck with my game
Boy or I'll bus' you
Life is tough
When I get stuck
When my time is up
I push through
Till I break-break-break
On through to the other side
Fantastically poor with faces like a stalker
Ninja is hardcore
Been cut so deep, feel no pain
It's not sore
Don't ask for cock or
You'll get what you ask for
I'm like a wild animal in the corner
Waiting for the break of dawn
Trying to get through the night
Just a man with the will to survive
My blades swing free
Decapitate a hater with amazing ease
This is not a game, boy
Don't play with me
I work my light saber like a wild fucking savage
From the dark side danger
Yin to the yang
Totally Hi-Tek Ninjas
Motherfucking big in Japan
I seen the future, but I never got nothing in my hand
Except a microphone, big dreams and a plan
Fly-talking, sky-walking
Like a ninja

[Chorus: x2]

Fuck, this is like
The coolest song I ever heard in my whole life
Fuck all of you who said I wouldn't make it
Who said I was a loser
They said I was a no-one
They said I was a fuckin' psycho
But look at me now,
All up on the interweb
World-wide, 2009
Futurista
Enter the ninja
Yolandi Visser
DJ Hi-Tek
Die fuckin' Antwoord

What's my name?

I, I, I (I'm a ninja)
I am your butterfly
I need your protection
Be my samurai
I, I, I (yo I'm a ninja)
I am your butterfly
I need your protection
Need your protection
(Yo I'm a ninja)

I, I, I
I am your butterfly
I need your protection
Be my samurai
I, I, I (a motherfuckin' ninja)
I am your butterfly
I need your protection
Need your protection

this band is satire. it's plain in the vids, there's an over-arcing theme going on, telling a story.

the tattoos should give a subtle clue to the fact that they ain't serious. they play like fools, but how many people are gonna know enough to place the tattoo on Ninja with the knife being held over his heart? the character being portrayed isn't likely to be able to draw that kinda parallel?

specifically, in the character for Ninja, the first part (Nin) is a kanji composed of the upper part meaning "edge of the sword" and the lower part meaning "heart." add to that the lyric in this song "Been cut so deep, feel no pain," seems to be drawing a parallel to this very concept that, while not originally part of the mythos, has worked it's way into it since it's translation into English.

that's only part of my reasoning, mind.

They simple Smile.DK for the hook? Regardless, this song rearry good. I think he got mad flow, also I think this song about his struggle with gender issues.

Diego: What area are you from? I live in Southern CT and unfortunately our radio stations are filled with complete mainstream shit. And nah, this song is not a joke, it's completely legit and in my opinion, amazing.

I think this song is about his struggle comin up because people told him he'd never amount to anything and didn't believe he'd make it with his unique sound. Now, he's givin em a big fuck you, cuz he's untouchable - he's a mothafuckin ninja!

My Opinion

@XTinaBispa, I live in the UK. It was given a sort of test airing on Radio 1 (the biggest pop/rock station in the country), the listener feedback was quite negative. I haven't heard it since, but I don't listen 24/7.

All up in the interwebz? Really?

Dude Watkin Tudor Jones is an underground hiphop artist but he's also actor because every band he is in he takes on a different persona for the entire time he is in the band......if you have seen any of his other bands you would understand NINJA is just a character... a character who is meant to help him get his message across...this time that message being diversity and equality...but yeah you all should try looking up what a song is about or even the band signing it before you try and fucken say what its about... but yeah either way...

I think it's probably "don't ask for kak," not "don't ask for cock." Vulgar either way, but kind of an important distinction.

@kagi “kak” is Afrikaans for “shit” not cock... Don’t ask for shit is what it says haha..!

I wanna know if he is answering her "need my Samurai" with "Yo I'm a Ninja" as in saying I'm a Ninja NOT a Samurai (coz they were enemies).

Nice shout out to Dance Dance Revolution in this song.

If it's not satire, I don't think it's completely serious. Look up the band "Max Normal", it's Ninja's other stuff, and it's much better imo.

first comment on this amazing song

I heard this on the radio for the first time today, I can't tell if this song is a joke or not. If it's serious, it' fucking awful. If it's a joke, it's not very funny.

My Interpretation

I was thinking like that too. First, I heard it on TV and thought it was quite strange, but then I watched the video and damn, in my opinion it's so fucking weird and awful.

Somewhere I read that the band is a satire. If that's true, they're great. If not - ouch.
