A love sick man hurt by too many gold diggers thinks he finds love. His mind has been tortured by hateful women, he suffers from PTSD and delusions. He seeks love only to be arrested, tried, convicted and sentenced to brain surgery by a drunken surgeon, dancing anesthesiologist and nurses and have part of his brain fed to the nurse's dog. He awakens to find himself in a toxic run down East German lead smelting plant that he sees as a beautiful paradise.

OK Like Lady Luck? Or we referencing the Queen? But, I like it. My interpretation is a bit convoluted, but its all I had. If Barry Hay said its regarding gambling, I will embrace that point of view. Thanks for the input.
I can see this as one man seeking love and a stable relationship. Sadly he has been damaged by too many spoiled partnerships. He is a broken man overtaken by sadness leading him down the road to ruin far beyond the last exit. He is clearly insane and finally caught after molesting a nun and a paralegal. The legal system in an ironic turn, gives him a lobotomy and places him the care of his lost love. He ends up a shell of a man, happy to be at foresaken and abandoned abestos factory.
