friends are friends for never Lyrics

ill wipe that smile right off of your face....
you'll always be nothing except for a fake....
ill wipe that smile right off of your face....
ill carve you a new one with this shiny little blade....
ill wipe that smile right off of your face....
you'll always be nothing except for a fake....
lets hope your not planning on running away from this....
this is all part of it what you get for throwing us to the pack of wolves....
you've got the devil inside of you....
you put fire to everything that you touch and then you walk away while it burns....
this is, this is the story of your life....
she turned your heart to black or was it there all along....
thought we knew who you were we were wrong i hope that this always weighs you down....
you've got the devil inside of you....
betrayal is only the, the beginning of this story....
betrayal is only the, the beginning of our story....
you put fire to everything that you touch and then you walk away while it burns....
this is, this is the story of your life....
ill wipe that smile right off of your face....
you'll always be nothing except for a fake....
friends are friends for never....

Cover art for friends are friends for never lyrics by Greeley Estates

Honestly, I think this is about Telle.

"The curse of the Greeley Estates bass players"

If you think about it, how he left the band just days before a tour in November 2008 (throwing us to the pack of wolves), and how one of The Word Alive's songs written by Craig was "The Devil Inside"

Also, "you put fire to everything that you touch and then you walk away while it burns...." could be a reference to the In Fear & Faith album/song "Your World On Fire"

But, then again, I could be completely wrong...

that sounds really good, but i have to disagree, Telle is still really good friends with everyone in Greeley

the band told me it was about their fallout with brian champ (their former drummer)

that situation turned out bad

Not sure who Greeley Estates intended this to be about, but on The Word Alive's new album they reference this song in "Consider It Mutual." Telle says it's about a song written about him and one of the lines is "if friends are friends for never you never were a friend at all." He talks about it here: http://www.altpress.com/features/entry/track_by_track_the_word_alive/
