This song really speaks to me. It rips my heart open and really touches my soul. I feel like it's about the overwhelming growth of greed in modern society. The lyrics "I just want, I just want" -- they really make me think about the current behavior of society presently. This postmodern piece is truly a commentary on life as we know it. I mean what do we really want? What do I want? What does the world want from me? Should I have married that man? I do have this really strong connection with this woman Paget (nickname for Pagalia). Sorry to be dragging my personal life into this but I can't help but share my frustrations. The singer and writer pulls the audience to live vicariously through their frustrations "Ahh, ahh, noo" -- Just perfect. There are no other words that can describe the validity of these lyrics. This truly is a embodiment of what it means to live in the twenty-first century. The technological age. The producers' angsts and frustrations are not only shown through these lyrics but also the strong beats and rapid shifts in tone and melody that accompany these lyrics.
Currently I'm still at a loss for what "Woop, woop" means so hopefully you all can help me out on that.
I applaud you The Bloody Beetroots and Steve Aoki. Well done. Well done. This is the song of my life.
way better than version 7.7
Seriously guys? You're looking far to into this in all the wrong places. Watch the video, the song is about how the Bloody Beetroots will never die down, they will forever ascend, forever reaching new heights. Whereas all their fans will eventually die out, and they will remain in the game.
"I get it. The song is about how sick the Bloody Beetroots are, and how eventually all the current fans will have to give up the party life. But the Bloody Beetroots party will forever live on because they're timeless and will forever be remembered. They are legend.
The jumping fans, the smashing clocks, the BB's jumping while the fans were falling. It all makes sense."
the song of your life can be summed in 6-8 words? :) i like your interpretations of this song, but i get the feeling that the beetroots didnt have those sort of feelings in mind... i feel the "woop woop" is thrown in because the track is simply designed to be thrashed on the dance floor, people LOVE to scream it out, making the song catchy, making it an instant hit for gen Y, making the artists money.
