This truly is a beautiful song. I think what it's about is pretty simple. being in love, and knowing that nothing lasts forever, when she says "let it live and die" she's telling this boy to love her now, because you're not alive forever.

personally i can relate to this song so much. her lyrics are very motivating and inspiring. to me its simply about love, shes in love with this guy who is so right for her in all the wrong ways. she loves the crazyness of their relationship, and how she wants it over what they "should" be

I heard this song the day after the love of my life broke up w/ me. I was hanging out with my friends, they had taken me to a club and it came on. I cried right in the middle of the dance floor. I have loved this song ever since. Every time I hear it i tear up. It is so sad and I wished I had heard this song before he broke up with me, so it could have helped me tell him how I feel about him. Maybe it is just a lesson I had to learn the hard way. ily Z!

i don't really like kesha, but i love this song. to me it means to just live in the moment and take chances while you can :)
