Party At a Rich Dude's House Lyrics
Swimming pool limousines (come on let’s do it)
Come on let’s cause a scene (come on let’s do it)
Cigar in the caviar (come on let’s do it)
I’m pissin’ in the Dom Pérignon (come on let’s do it)
Now, come on let’s do it
We’re gonna do it now
Come on let’s do it
Come on let’s do this
Wooow oh oh
There’s a party at a rich dude’s house
Wooow oh oh
There’s a party at a rich dude’s house
If ya wanna go then ya know oh
We’re gonna fight til we do it right
So let’s wooow oh oh
Tonight
No, we’re not on the list (come on let’s do it)
No, we don’t give a shit (come on let’s do it)
Dance til your pants come off (come on get naked)
Party til the break of dawn (come on let’s do it)
Now, come on let’s do it
Come on, come on,
Come on let’s do this
Wooow oh oh
There’s a party at a rich dudes house
Wooow oh oh
There’s a party at a rich dudes house
If ya wanna go then ya now oh
We’re gonna fight till we do it right
So let’s wooow oh oh
Tonight
Wake up in the front yard
(We don’t care)
Wine stain on the sofa
(We don’t care)
I threw up in the closet
But I don’t care
’Cause we’re young and we’re broke
And I can’t find my coat
And the sun is coming up
And oh my god I think I’m still drunk
Where’s my coat?
Where?
Wooow oh oh
There’s a party at a rich dudes house
Wooow oh oh
There’s a party at a rich dudes house
If ya wanna go then ya now oh
We’re gonna fight til we do it right

Trashy, fun pop. Love it.
Wow. I can't believe there isn't more discussion about this song.

This is probably the best song written since Hotel California. There is no way it's getting the recognition it deserves. There are several deep lyrics that I instantly noticed as being more than words, but feelings that are trying to be translated. Not only do the lyrics get my nerves shaking, but so does the music, which was also written just as carefully to be paired up with the words without flaw.

The first thing you hear is the eerie siren sound. It, most certainly, catches your attention and leaves you wondering what it could be. It's amazing how it leaves you hanging until you can make educated guesses using context clues, which could be as early as the pounding sound, which could be the cops. Do we know? No. It's a cliffhanger.
The guitar riff comes in with fashionable timing, and I'm not even going to mention how beautiful it sounds, even with all that distortion.
The lyrics are so descriptive. It almost puts you there. The music matches perfectly. I can almost smell the cigarette smoke. I get a great visual of the people there.
I love how she is so literal, but you are left wondering if there is any more meaning behind it that challenges your knowledge. Then it clicks. She means exactly what she's saying. It's like a twist ending. It's great to sing so literally, and get your point across to your audience. It keeps their attention without having to wonder.
Everything is just so relatable, too. It makes you really appreciate the song writing because you gotta wonder why you didn't write the song yourself. But you begin to think that it's not as easy as it sounds. "Wine stain on the sofa," "we're gonna fight 'til we do it right," and my favorite "cause we're young and we're broke" are all lyrics that would have taken years of studying past artists, as far back as William Shakespeare.
Of course, I had to study this song myself, having listened to it at least 5 times before I started realizing how epic it is. I can honestly say I've listened to this over 500 times in the past 2 months, and since then I've gotten a promotion at work, met a beautiful woman who has been there for me at all times, saved a whole family from a burning building, and even started my own research facility where I have engineered a pill that cures both cancer and AIDS at once, and prevents the flu and common cold (patent pending).
Give it a chance, people. It will be the greatest favor you've ever done for yourself.
