And now the sun is rising
Another long walk back home (back home)
There's just so many faces,
But no one I need to know (need to know)
In the dark I can't fight it, I fake til I'm numb
But in the bright light,
I taste you on my tongue
Now the party's over
and everybody's gone
I'm left here with myself and I wonder what went wrong
And now my heart is broken
Like the bottles on the floor
Does it really matter?
Or am I just hung over you?
ah ah ah, ah ah ah
Or am I just hungover?
Even my dirty laundry
Everything just smells like you (like you)
And now my head is throbbing
Every song is out of tune
Just like you
In the dark I can't fight it til it disappears
But in the daylight
I taste you in my tears
Now the party's over,
and everybody's gone
I'm left here with myself and I wonder what went wrong
And now my heart is broken
Like the bottles on the floor
Does it really matter?
Or am I just hung over you?
Now I've got myself looking like a mess
Standing alone trying to pretend but no,
I put up my fight
But this is it this time (time)
Cause 'm here in the end, tryin to pretend
I'm here in the end, tryin to pretend
oh, ohhh
Now the party's over,
and everybody's gone
I'm left here with myself and I wonder what went wrong
And now my heart is broken
Like the bottles on the floor
Does it really matter?
Or am I just hung over you?
Now the party's over,
and everybody's gone
I'm left here with myself and I wonder what went wrong
And now my heart is broken

you guys i have a problem i don't want to like Kesha but I DO. ahh. :P
The reason I really love this song is because, despite the title Hungover, it shows a deeper side of Ke$ha, which I really like.
And going the obvious way, I believe it's about her trying to move past someone she loved that she screwed things up with.
kesha is heart broken and is trying to feel numb by drinking lots, but just like a hangover in the morning..it makes her feel worse/things worse.
this reminds me of a song ashley tisdale would sing.
i love it anyway.
OMG Officially my new favorite song
she must really like this guy, she seems really hung up on this dude. that and plus she sounds like she's really lonely without this guy.
From what i am getting is that party and there is a hook up with someone, and the next day she pondering does she really like them does it mean something or is the sad feeling she is feeling is just that she is hungover them.(kinda like liqour) that effect where its just a temperate down in feelings.
She was talking on the radio about this song yesterday. It's about being cheated on..
This is my theme song! Haha, this song is basically self explanatory. Sje's saying she can't quite tell whether she is rly broken or if she is just hungover. -izzieB
