I know, I know, I know, I know
Every hour of the day
Theirs a whisper inside of her brain telling me who to kill
Telling me who will live
I'd do what she says son, I'd do what you will
I'd do what you say and I'd do what you will
I'd do it again
Again, again, again
I know, I know, I know, I know
Every hour you're awake
They'll be upping the price on your head
And now you're in reach
So watch where you sleep
They'll search day and night can't forget what you do
You'll put up a fight don't regret how you lived
A means to an end
End, end, end
Step inside the box
Pretend we won't, don't scream again, no
Go to sleep
We'll surely find you now
Really then
Every hour of the day
Theirs a whisper inside of her brain telling me who to kill
Telling me who will live
I'd do what she says son, I'd do what you will
I'd do what you say and I'd do what you will
I'd do it again
Again, again, again
Every hour you're awake
They'll be upping the price on your head
And now you're in reach
So watch where you sleep
They'll search day and night can't forget what you do
You'll put up a fight don't regret how you lived
A means to an end
End, end, end
Pretend we won't, don't scream again, no
We'll surely find you now
Really then

Beautiful ender.
Interview with Chris Keating, source: http://blogs.seattleweekly.com/reverb/2010/04/qa_yeasayers_chris_keating_on.php I read that one of the songs on Odd Blood, "Grizelda," is about Griselda Blanco from the documentary Cocaine Cowboys. How do you take specific events and decide to turn them into your own music? We wanted to make a version of what we thought a pop record was, somewhat cheesy sentiment, somewhat direct, slightly bubblegum lyrics, and then also dealing with love, love songs, personal relationships. That kind of counteracts the electronic vibe. We began reading about Griselda Blanco and we rented that movie because we were intrigued by the idea of a female mass murderer, and the relationships she had with the people she worked with. They were all in love with her, and that kind of was an alternative version of a love song. "
As much as I like "Theirs always bear inside of her brain" it should be: "There's a whisper inside of her brain" that one I'm 100% sure of
I also believe that "I'd do what she says son, I'd do what you will" should be "I'd do what she says son, now do what you will" and same for the second repetition.
Ira's part sounds like "I'll love love love love you again"?
