Ring the Bell Lyrics

I was born into the glove only to take it off.
Ah ah
I grew up with fear in my heart.

Then we gathered til my brothers both shot up.
It became clear there’s no one else here.

So I ask myself and I ask you now:

Will we go to heaven
or will we go to hell?
It’s my understanding that neither are real.
(x2)

Weeee ewww wee ewww
Weeee ewww wee ooooh

I grew up with fear in my heart
(x4)

Weeee ewww wee ewww
Weeee ewww wee ooooh

Will we go to heaven
or will we go to hell?
It’s my understanding that neither are real.
(x4)

It became clear there’s no one else here.

Cover art for Ring the Bell lyrics by Yacht

I think they are Atheist. That would make sense. I first started listening to Yacht a while back when I first realized their wasn't a god. So I connected with this song. I think is about being born into a Christian environment, and finally realizing that their is no such thing as a God out there. Idk. That is my take on it. We all interpret songs differently and connect them to our lives in different ways. That is just how I see it. I think it says, "I was born to the CLOTH" not glove.
