I'm calling from the big town
as the summer rain falling down
and I've been thinking about back home
and chasing
yeah I'm still chasing my dreams
realizing in between there's a lonely long stretch of road.
And I'm learning more each and every day
about the truth in the words you'd always say
I found a little church
where I like to pray
and I thank God for you (it's true)

but I sure thought I ws ready for this world.
