You must have mistaken reading from the booklet because mine says "Is out there for the taking" instead of "Is out there for the taken".

When Jamey talks about this song on the DVD material that was included in the special edition of this album, he calls it a "hardcore upbeat anthem". He also says the song was inspired by a show that was called "probably the single biggest hardcore show of all time". It shows his feeling about hardcore.
