This song I think is about how this person loves another person and how they combat the struggles of life together. The good and the bad, as long as they're together, they can make it through :)

can i also point out that in Jimmy Eat Worlds song, he says " Just wait for the right time" in the Chorus. Travis in this one is singing " Just wait for the sunshine" and it's funny how both say it with the exact same tone. For the ones who don't know Jimmy Eat World, their song has been out since 2004.

This is a really great song, but the melody everything is just like 23 by Jimmy Eat World. I swear, listen to both songs, they sound just the same, the verse and chorus the guitar melodies. I have the feeling they listened to that song, since these guys love jimmy eat world, and thought maybe take the melody :) lol. I don't know, anything is possible.

at first i thought this was a breakup song by the line "this wont be easy tonight" but when i listen to it more it doesnt sound like a breakup song but a "lets be together forever" song :D
To me this always sounded like the singer had a girlfriend who was being bullied who was maybe suicidal ("I hear your voice and what we talk about") and he was trying to tell her that he would always be there for her. It's a really cute, romantic song!
